How to assign a collection to a new collection template in Taste 2.0

I want to make it so that each collection links have a different design for their respective collection links.
For example, I have a homeware collection, so I am using the default collection template with slideshow/images of home designs.
I have a tech collection so I created a new collection template based on the default collection page and designed it to fit the theme of the tech collection.

When I try to select this new theme template in my tech collection under online store> theme template the page will not allow me to open or select an option and it is showing up like this.

How can this be fixed?

First you need to create alternate template in your live theme, if you have duplicate theme then create same collection template here too.

Go to Collection page. you will get option for assigning new template at right hand sidebar
