How to Assign a Featured Image for Specific Landing Pages (no-code)?

I see that Shopify assigns Featured Image to:

  • Products
  • Collections
  • Blogposts

But not to Landing Pages?

By “Landing Page,” I mean a page with sales content about a featured Product, or Collection, in which I don’t wish to feature a Product image.

I found this article from 2019 (it’s 2022 now) that said it is not a feature available on Shopify:

"Shopify lets you add featured images for products and collections.
But unlike WordPress, there is no option of adding featured images to pages in Shopify!"

Has this no-code feature been added to Shopify, but I am missing it?

Astounding this isn’t baked in to Shopify already!!!

Their whole platform is half-baked. Shopify really does disappoint in most every way.

I’m scratching my head on this one too. I’ve contacted my theme developer as well as shopify and the only answer is ‘maybe with some custom code you can do that’. I’m quite happy with Shopify, but am astounded by this.

This bonehead shortcoming would be so EASY to solve, too. There must be a reason they choose not to make it a priority. Derp.

I don’t understand how this is still not available in Shopify. Overall pretty happy with the platform but the ability to add a featured image to a page is essential!
