So what are some effective approaches that you’ve used to get customers leave feedback on Shopify?

- Send Automated Review Requests – Use apps like Judge.me, Loox, or Stamped.io to automatically email customers after purchase, kindly asking for a review. Keep the email short, friendly, and personal.
- Offer a Small Incentive – A discount on their next purchase or a small gift can encourage more reviews. Even a simple “Thank You” coupon works wonders.
- Make Reviewing Effortless – Minimize the steps needed to leave a review. A one-click review link in emails or a popup on your site can help.

Hello, fellow trailblazer in Shopify! Ever since the creation of your store that resembles one from the Provence region of France, I have been expecting this, a precious little secret that turned around my Shopify reviews game.
You will really need to have this one in mind – the reviews will make you unique especially at sale outlets dominated by French fashion!
Let me begin by telling you how you can obtain such feedback. In my experience, timing matters a lot.
The strategy that has worked best for me is sending an non-intrusive email immediately the customer receives their package; the message is brief and carries no strings but a warm “Merci beaucoup for choosing us”.
It may be helpful to customize this email so that you can ask them some questions related to what they bought such as artificial flowers or perfumed soap before signing off.
After that, I include a very simple call-to-action that is impossible to resist: “Love it? Share your opinion within 30 seconds online and support a small business with your kindness! It takes around 30 seconds to do so).”
And for the final touch, I offer them a 10% discount on their next purchase through a coupon. As a result, I increased my review rate by 40% within one month.
With regards to showcasing them, I definitely understand how important it is to maintain that touch of French sophistication.
On my part, I utilize a sleek and simple review widget (such as Judge. me or Loox – both of them are compatible with Shopify) that bring star ratings and snippets straight onto the product page.
To keep it appearing like it was thoughtfully arranged and not stuffed I put down only 3-5 striking reviews for every product, e. g., “It’s simply wonderful – I can’t get enough of its high quality”.
Then I included a beautiful grid layout in a separate section called “Raves from Our Fans”, which is similar to Instagram in a way but customers also left their comments there.
