How to change currency name like Rs200 to ₹200

beezkart.com, check by changing the country to india

Hey Harshkmr,

If the base currency of the store is in RS, then you can edit the currency formatting via the currency settings in your store’s admin:

https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/markets/pricing/currency-formatting

Otherwise, you’d probably be looking at some kind of custom-coding to replace the “RS” with “₹”.

If you’re wanting to try and fix this via custom-coding (provided no one can post an easy solution for you here), then I’d recommend reaching out to www.HeyCarson.com or else an Expert/Partner from this page (https://www.shopify.com/partners/directory/services/store-setup/customize-theme) for help with this.

Alternatively, you could look into the ‘currency converter’ apps on the Shopify app store, to see if one offers the functionality to customize which symbol is used for each currency.

Thank you for providing the screenshot of your currency settings + confirming which app you’re using.

Since your store is USD as the base-currency, the solution wouldn’t be via the admin currency settings.

You’d want to reach out to Bucks Currency Converter’s support team directly (support@helixo.co)) and ask them if it’s possible to make the change.
