How to change width of content area of blog posts page on IMPULSE theme

Hi there,

Looking to change the content width of the blog posts page without affecting the whole page (header, footer etc)

I have previously tried the below but it changed the full page including header, footer etc and i couldn’t figure out how to exclude them…

Any ideas?

Add this css at the bottom of
Online Store->Theme->Edit code->Assets->theme.css

.template-article #MainContent .page-width.page-narrow.page-content {
    max-width: 800px;
    padding-left: 15px;
    padding-right: 15px;
}

Hello There,

  1. In your Shopify Admin go to online store > themes > actions > edit code
  2. Find Asset > theme.scss.liquid and paste this at the bottom of the file:
.template-article #MainContent .page-width.page-narrow.page-content
{max-width: 800px !important; padding-left: 15px !important; padding-right: 15px !important;}
