When a customer gets to checkout there is no option to continue shopping to add more items. How do Inset this up?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some guidance with completing customizations on the shop, to get this resolved. To provide some context, access to the checkout page within Shopify is restricted to ensure security measures are met. Due to this, manipulations on this page are extremely limited but can add this button on the Cart Page as an alternative. I recommend referring to our Shopify Checkout documentation for more information on what can be completed to the checkout page.
To add a Continue Shopping button on the Cart Page, you can check out our Add A Continue Shopping Link To Your Cart for those steps. There are a few themes however, that have this option already built-in and can be adjusted within the shops theme editor (i.e Online Store > Themes > Customize). To access all themes with the existing feature, you can refer to the Shopify Theme Store.
Alternatively, you can check out the Shopify App Store for an available app that will allow for this to be achieved. I’ve gone ahead and suggested a few app you can look into, but recommend viewing the Shopify App Store for a full list:
