How to convert SCSS to CSS (Debutify Theme)

Good Day,

I recently noticed a warning notice in the theme editor of my Shopify store “SCSS support is deprecated in themes. Convert .scss and .scss.liquid files to .css or .css.liquid for a better performing online store and theme editor.” Since then, I’ve been searching online for help converting the scss code, but there doesn’t seem to be about newbie developer-friendly articles. Does anyone have a beginner-friendly video that can guide me on how to make the change?

Additionally, I think this may be a contributing factor to the decrease in my site’s speed. My site is https://kitchenexstore.com/, and I would appreciate any advice or guidance you all can offer.

I’m in the same boat! Currently my site, angelicaromasaberdeen.com, is having issues with loading times etc. a majority of my images etc are optimised, yet the time to load pages is too much! i think it may be this. If anyone can answer the question about would be very much appreciated!
