I’m using the theme, Dawn. Is there a way to remove the ‘Best Selling’ option from the sort by list on the collection pages?

Please add this code to your base.css file to get this sove

Step 1: Online Stores > Themes > More Actions > Edit code

Step 2: find and click on base.css and paste the code at the bottom of the file

#SortBy option[value="best-selling"] {
display: none !important;
}

Thanks @Kani this solution worked best for me!

This removes it from the drop down, but the words are still there.

These solutions work but they don’t.

If you want it removed, its most likely because you want it to default to A-Z.

It still sorts them all by “Best Selling” and leaves the words.

What these solutions do is prevent anyone from going back to “Best Selling”

This is what is needed.

  1. Remove “Best Selling From the Dropdown”

  2. Have the collection then default to A-Z

  3. Also removed the words “Best Selling”
