When I add products to my shopify they always end up at the bottom of the page .I have tried the sorting option but there doesnt appear to be a save option when sorted newest to oldest ?
any ideas

In your admin, go to your collections menu..
Then select the collection that you want to set to have newest products stay on top…
Once in the collection page, scroll down to the products section, and set the “Sort” option to “Newest”.
This will make it so that the default sorting for this collection is newest to oldest.
it does not change in my store it is the exact same.
