Hi, i saw you can now have a modal button on Prestige. I’d like to use it as a “join waitlist” button so that when a product is out of stock, we can get the customers alert that they want this product back. I just don’t know how to code it so that when a product goes out of stock we automatically change the BUY BUTTON into the JOIN WAITLIST button.

To be notified etc you would need to add custom code, or use an app. This is how to change the “Out Of Stock” button to “Join Waitlist”.
Online Store> Themes> “…”> Edit Default Theme Content
Then Search “Out Of Stock” and change the text of the product option at the bottom to “Join Waitlist”. Then click Save. Like so:

hi, if i cannot have a dynamic button that changes when the product becomes out of stock, then just the text change is useless unfortunately. Do you have a code i could use ? thanks
The button does change dynamically based on the item being out of stock using the instructions above. You just are not notified if a customer clicks the button. You would need to hire someone to write the code to do so, I cannot provide it without accessing the store.
The app in my post above has this feature, the button text will change, and you will be notified if a customer wants the item. You can also allow pre-orders for an item that is out of stock if you’d like.
