After purchase, I want to prompt the customer to share us on Facebook/Twitter. If they do, I want to give them a free gift (ideally, add it to their existing order, but I’d also accept giving them a promo code that they can use to place a subsequent order). I haven’t been able to find an app that does this. Anyone know one?

However, it’s important to note that these are all third-party apps, developed by teams who are external to Shopify.
