How to fix checkout redirect and shipping zone errors?

Hi, I am currently facing two issues related to the checkout page, the first being this error that shows up, " looks like this page is redirecting to a page that isn’t compatible with this editor. To ensure that your redirect doesn’t interfere with the editing experience, replace window.location.href = with window.top.location.href = in your theme’s JavaScript over here."

My second issue is that the checkout page states that “This order can’t be shipped to your location. Contact the store for more information.” however I have updated my shipping zone to the United States, (my location).

Hi Jennifer,

For the first issue are you adding a redirect script in the “Additional Script” section of your checkout or are you on Shopify Plus?

For the second issue did you create shipping rates under the zone? Let me know!

Thank you so much for your reply, I forgot to mention that I am still in the editing process, my website has not yet launched. However, before launching I was trying to use the test mode on shopify payments to see how the checkout experience would be for my customers, however this error keeps popping up and it wont let me go through with it. Also, I have not yet chosen a plan I am still on the 14 day trial.

Regarding shipping rates, yes I have added them in already. Thanks once again!

Hello

I am also getting this error message when I click either ‘ADD TO CART’ or ‘BUY NOW’ on a product. Nothing happens the page stays the same and the the error message that has ben repeatedly referenced on this thread comes up

However when I was testing the process yesterday the checkout was working fine. The only thing I can think of is that I deleted a ‘footer’ menu on the navigation page to replace it because I didn’t like having the search box at the bottom of the page and for some reason the drop down menu kept directing to a collections page that I did not want so I was trying to get rid of it. When I deleted the navigation ‘footer’ menu, I got a message that said ‘This cannot be Undone’ That is the only change I have made to any navigation

I have tried all of the suggestions in this thread from trying to checkout live and also to changing the checkout settings but nothing is working.

Shopify can you please help???
