How to fix cross-domain redirection issue on first and subsequent visits?

Hi all,

I am having a cross-domain issue with the Markets “Domain/subfolder redirection” of Shopify.

The first time customers need to get redirected, Shopify will do as intended, but it stops working the second time customers need to be redirected.

For example, if a Canadian customer head over to store1.com, they will be redirected to store2.ca

But if they go back to store1.com, Shopify will not redirect them to store2.ca anymore

and vice-versa for US customers

Has anyone ever experienced something of the sort before, by any chance?

I would very much appreciate it if any good samaritan could enlighten me.

Same here. Would be good to get any attention and reply from Shopify…

Shopify will most likely never fix it so i strongly suggest the app Geolizr (https://apps.shopify.com/geolizr)
