How to fix variant issue affecting product options availability?

Hi, thank you in advance for answering my question.

I have a problem with the product that has two variants.

For example:

A bag has 2 variants:

  • Size (Big/Small)
  • Color (Red/Yellow/Green/Blue)
  1. Big size has Red/Yellow/Green
  2. Small size has Green/Blue

The problem now is,

  1. if I click “Big” and then click “Red”, then the “Small” and “Blue” options will be unavailable, and not able to click.
  2. if I click “Small”, the only option showing is “Blue”, so I can only click “Blue”, then “Big” and “Red/Yellow/Green” will be unavailable.

Either of those will make those other unavailable options not able to click. unfortunately, the customers will think this product don’t have the other variant option then just leave.

How can i make it just size variant can always be able to click, and just unable the color options?

Anyone can help with this?
