How to get a logo in the google search engine results

hey, i already added a favicon to my store, but in the google search results, it shows up like this:

anyone know how to fix this? thanks

It sounds like Google may not have updated its cache of your website to include the new favicon yet. Here are a few steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:

  1. Check that the favicon is correctly added to your website. You can do this by going to your website and looking for the favicon in the browser tab. If it’s there, then it’s likely an issue with Google’s cache.

  2. Use the Google Search Console to request a re-crawl of your website. This will prompt Google to refresh its cache of your website and may update the favicon in the search results. To do this, go to the Google Search Console, select your website, and then click on “URL Inspection” in the left-hand menu. Enter the URL of your website’s homepage and click “Enter”. If Google has not yet indexed your website, you can request indexing by clicking “Request indexing”.

  3. Wait a few days to see if the issue resolves itself. Sometimes it can take Google a few days to update its cache of a website, so it may be worth waiting to see if the favicon updates on its own.
