How to hide low in stock on Instagram shop

Hello Guys,

We are using the Instagram shop function and connected to Shopify. Our Instagram shop shows how many are left of low-in-stock items. I just wondered how can we hide these “Only 5 left” tags on my shop.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi! Did you find an answer to this? I’ve asked shopify and a Meta representative but I keep getting run-around answers. Thanks

I would also love to know how to resolve this. We carry low stock most of the time so almost every item says its low stock or only 2 available.

Hello Guys,

I just found a solution, I disconnected Shopify and Meta Commerce. Because Facebook and Instagram will get the data directly from Shopify, and there is no way to control which data to share, that’s the reason why Instagram shop always shows the “how many left” label.

So I used an app on Shopify called shopping data feed service, it could help me to download the data from Shopify and I can adjust the inventory and availability, after that, I upload the feed manually to Instagram shop.

I changed every inventory to 15 to make sure its not low, and our business will have new arrivals every month, so I just need to update the data afterward.

Hope this help!

Hey,

Please check my reply.

Is there an alternate solution that does not cost $24/mos (or $69/mos) with the alternate app? My inventory low by design on the backend but frustrating from a shopper view. I appreciate the dialog I the topic. Thanks!

Is there a way to not show “low stock” WITHOUT disconnecting Shopify and Meta Commerce?

This isn’t an “accepted solution” if we have to show “15 products” when we simply don’t have that many in stock. It’s also adds almost $300 per year for the app.

So, WHO accepts this kind of solution??

As a micro-retailer of specialty plants and miniatures, I often only get half a dozen at a time of most of my items - sometimes less, sometimes more. I run a tight ship.

Is there a way to just NOT show “low stock” on this Facebook integration?

Seeing how we are now forced to comply or die with these things - we at least should be able to set up our own stores how we want to.

Letting Facebook dictate HOW we run our stores is just NOT RIGHT.

I’m a vintage shop that has only 1 item in stock of that specific item. Seeing “Only a Few Left” and “New” … isn’t what a vintage shop wants to show folks and it gives the impression that we are offering ‘vintage inspired’ items … I won’t pay for an app to get this done … Has anyone resolved this? Or have any work arounds that can help? Thank you!

Have you found a solution ? This is so frustrating and it looks so unprofessional to me…

I have the same problem. We have an antique jewelry store and carry only one of each item. Our IG shop says “Only a Few Left” when we only have one. And it is misleading. We don’t have multiples of anything in our store. Each item is unique and one-of-a-kind.

Hello! May anybody have any updates or further insights on this topic? I have a Meta/IG vintage shop where I only sell one of a kind pieces and I’m trying to remove the “only a few left” label without needing to use a third party app.
