How to Integrate a Customizable AliExpress Product with DSers in My Store?

Hello,

I am new to dropshipping and have a question:

I want to integrate a customizable product from AliExpress into my store using DSers and am wondering how this works in general.

For the customizable product, I need an additional text field where the customer can enter some text (like a name or something else).

The supplier on AliExpress wants this text information to be sent to them as a chat message within the AliExpress-Chat.

How can this be done with DSers? Is it even possible?

Do I need to create the product in my store first (including the custom text field) and then link it with DSers? If so, how do I do that?

Or should I import the product into my store using DSers right from the start (and then how do I create the additional text field)?

And how do I get DSers to send it as a chat message to the supplier, related to this specific order?

So many questions…

P.S.: I know how to add an additional information input field to a product’s information section. But how do I link all this with DSers and the AliExpress supplier?

Does this work the same way for products that require an additional text field (e.g., for engraving)?
How and where is this text field information transferred from the shop to DSers and then to AliExpress? I still don’t quite understand that.

I know how to import products into my shop using DSers in general.
However, I’m specifically concerned about how to handle additional information (like text fields) that you need for some customizable products (e.g., personalized text, engraving lines, etc.).

I read online:
‘Since DSers doesn’t directly offer a way to transmit customizations like text engravings to the AliExpress supplier, you have to do this manually. This means that after the order is imported into DSers, you must directly communicate the customizations (e.g., the name for a stamp) to the AliExpress supplier.’

Is this really the case? Do I have to do this manually for every order?
