I would like to know which font is used on my shopify store. I’ve looked into my theme setings but the one that is indicated clearly isint the one actually used. I mean, theres gotta be a way to know that right?
HI @Jp241 ,
Please provide us your website so we can inspect the website for you. Thank you
Hi @Jp241 ,
The website uses tt_lakes, and Inter. tt_lakes for menus and headings. Inter for contents
Hi @Jp241 ,
You can simply inspect the CSS to check what font a text is:
-
Right click on the page you like the look of and select Inspect Element (Firefox), Inspect (Chrome), or F12 Developer Tools (Edge).
-
Select a text with the selector
-
Select Inspector (Firefox) or Computed (Chrome) in the new bottom windows and scroll down on the right until you reach Font or font-size. It should show the font family, the specific font used, its size, its color, and anything else the page defines.
- Repeat step 2 and 3 with other texts.
Alternatively, you can use a font checker extension for Chrome to check what font is used on your website. I recommend this WhatFont extension.
I hope my answer helps.
sorry for that
you can easy to check can you just go to customization >>>> theme setting >>> typography
Thanks for taking time to show me step by step how to do this! Really appreciate.
But I just realised that they don’t exactly look the same. I’ll put 2 screenshots, one is from my websites slider and the second one from the font (tt lakes) which is the one that is used for the sliders main titles.
The capital I aren’t the same, what could explain that..?
