How to make the logo size bigger on dawn theme without making the header bigger

Hello, I hope you guys can help me with these 3 questions.

  1. I inserted my logo image into my dawn theme header. The logo is not as visible. so I made it bigger and when I increased size on the logo the header also became bigger which is not what I want.

  2. I want my logo to be on very top left. Its not all the way on left.

  3. How do I change the header background color to different color. I want it to be a navy blue. And also the footer color as well.

  4. I want the home, contact etc to be closer to the logo too.
