Question:
How do i handle inventory and using a POD, should the inventory section be left blank if using POD?
If not, how do i fill the inventory section out considering POD?

Are you using an app to import your POD products from? Like Printly or Printify? If yes, then the app integration on your store will most likely handle all the inventory requirements and will push inventory availability into the product listing for you.
Generally, when you are using a dropshipping or POD app you do not want to edit or make changes to the product listing quantity, price or sku and description changes should be done through the app directly. Making edits to the product listing in your admin could break the connection to the app and cause issues with syncing orders and purchases.
The app devs can help you understand more about the app integration if you need additional help with this.
Im using printful, and when im making updates i normally do them on
printful not shopify. The reason why i was asking in shopify is because
the inventory button is on shopifys website not printful. I want to know if
anyone messes with this button while using printful or any other apps.
Thanks for the additional details, @divinecouturenc !
I took a look at Printful’s documentation and found that they suggest adding Printful as the location in your inventory settings. I didn’t see anything that specifically mentioned how inventory quantities are handled, but I don’t advise adding any details that the Printful app didn’t push to Shopify.
To double check that all is well with the product sync, I recommend contacting Printful—they’re super helpful. You can find their contact information here on their app listing page.
