When you go to the Products list, you will notice that if the item has less than 10 stocks, it will show up in red text.
We’d like to change “10” as the basis for low stocks to “2.” How can this be done?
Someone already asked about it before but no one was able to share how to modify the quantity that will serve as the basis for the low stock.
Thank you.

Hello @ellekaie ,
No this is not a problem. This is a default function.
However, this can only be addressed from Shopify’s end as there are no settings provided to fix this issue. Generally when your stock goes low the color of your stock goes red.
You can contact Shopify support and explain your problems and they can tell you if this can be fixed.
Let us know if you need any other help with your storefront.
All the best,
CedCommerce

Thanks for confirming that this seems to be a standard behavior. It’s just odd that there is no official help article about this.

Reached out to Shopify Support and their response matches cedcommerce’s answer.
Changing this color is not a feature right now. I completely understand your need for it. It would be very useful to have an option for a store that deals with low inventory like your own. Moving forward, I will pass your feedback to our developers and suggest that this feature be added to future upgrades to the platform. I cannot guaruntee they will add this but I will be sure to suggest it. If there is any other reasony why you would like this feature to be added please let me know so I can include that in my suggestion.
