How to modify slideshow animation speed and behavior in Motion theme?

Using motion theme.

How can I have the animation for this slideshow (fast fade/zoom in)

behave like the animation on this Fading Hero Image (slow fade /zoom in), whilst also stopping the animation from resetting every few seconds - but just fading in and staying static after it’s done.
