How to move the search bar to next to the announcement bar?

I have seen a few websites do this, where the search bar is next to the announcements to allow for room along the top. I wondered how this was done? I believe this is only on desktop too; the search bar on mobile remains on the side tab.

Unfortunately there is no simple solution for this. It would need customization.
