How to redirect a user to a Coming - Soon Page in checkout?

Hey guys,

for validation purposes we want to only find out if people are interested in our products and if they would buy them.

To proove this we built a real shopify shop but would like to redirect the users to a coming soon page. The redirection should happen in the final checkout step, when the users added their payment details and are about to click on the final “Buy” Button.

Is this somehow possible with a normal shopify subscription?

No, unfortunately not. The most you can do is include a redirect in your cart page and redirect customers when they click checkout.

I am looking for the same thing. Did you find a solution?

I would like to either forward the checkout button or if that is not possible to forward the add to cart button to a ‘coming soon’ or 404 page so as to count the potential customers and validate whether my product is profitable.

Does anyone maybe have an idea how to implement this?
