My client would like to remove all of the icons( search, account, and cart) on the header. She does not want it to be shop-able at the moment. I have tried many several ways to remove the icons on the header. I have plugged in every suggested code I could find and placed it at the bottom of theme.css- I do not have base.css.
The theme is Spark. I don’t know what else to do.

I understand that your client would like to remove all of the icons, as they don’t want their store to be shoppable at the moment. While removing the icons is one option to prevent shopping, this option may be more troublesome when your client decides to start selling again. Instead, you can also consider options, like adding a password protection to the online store or disabling all methods of payments under the Payments settings, which can prevent unwanted visitors or customers from checking out.
If your client doesn’t plan to use Shopify for selling products, then it does make sense that they’d want to remove all icons (eg. informational websites). If this is the case, then you can check with the theme developers to see if they can help with removing/hiding the icons. The Spark theme is developed by Florescent Design Inc. and you can contact them using their online form. If the theme developer doesn’t offer customization support, then you can also consider hiring a developer to assist you with editing a third-party/custom theme.
