Hey @missplabed

That’s an interesting one!

Do you know for a fact that the uninstalled app from 2/3 years ago is causing issues with your current currency conversion implementation? I am wondering if it’s possible that the app you are currently using might simply need some tweaking, or more detailed setup to work correctly?

Are you now using a different currency conversion app from the Shopify App Store? If so, I would recommend reaching out to the app developers and asking for assistance. They should be able to help you troubleshoot the app and figure out why it isn’t working correctly. From the app listing page, click into the Support tab to contact the developers.

If you feel like there’s code left behind from the previous app, then contacting the app developers and asking them to remove the code is best practice. However, since you cannot remember the name of the app (as it was removed several years ago) then you can feel free to reach out to our support team using this link here. We can take a deeper dive into your account and help you identify the name of the app, and steer you in the right direction to get help.

If you are in a country where Shopify Payments is available, did you know that you can actually sell in multiple currencies? This allows you to display local prices to customers, let’s your customers pay for their orders in their local currency, and allows them to receive refunds in their local currency.
