We frequently have flash sales where we offer unique one-of-a kind pieces of art that sell out within minutes of being listed. The problem we have is that the same item can be placed in more than one customer’s cart until the first one to check out actually secures the item. We need for those products to NOT be able to be placed into another customer’s cart during this time - we want to give them 10 minutes to be able to customize the product and get through the checkout process without too much rushing. This is leading to a slew of upset and angry collectors. We need more than a cart timer app provides, we have tried several already. Is there anything out there like this at all, or has anyone found a good solution to this?
