Hi
We seem to be getting a few Apple Pay orders which seem to be fraudulent.
It is showing low risk but we are confident this is not true.
Does anybody else have this or had any chargeback on the Apple pay order?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some guidance with minimizing the occurrence of fraudulent orders placed on the shop, to get this resolved. While Shopify’s Fraud Analysis feature utilizes machine learnt algorithms to help detect any high-risk orders, we always recommend taking additional steps to review orders prior to fulfilling them. There are a few ways you can investigate orders processed with Apple Pay to add an additional layer of safety and recommend checking out our Fraud Prevention documentation for more information. These steps include:
- Verify the IP Address.
- Call the phone number attached to the order.
- Search the email address.
- Verify the billing and shipping address match.
- Check if multiple orders use different billing addresses for the same shipping address.
- Review high value orders.
- Install Fraud Prevention Apps.
