Total newbie slogging though a store set up for my artwork Right now i’m focusing on selling prints of my original art and I want to set up a “gallery wall” option for some of the choices. I primarily do animal paintings so as an example i’ll do a “pug gallery wall” and folks can pick their fave 3, 6, or 8 pug prints for a discount on the bundle. i’m confusing myself on how to set this up - allow folks to select from a set list of pug paintings and choose the number they want to pick. I have a huge number of prints that aren’t pugs, so trying to make the bundle a bit more manageable
Thank you so much! So the idea would be a giving a bit more incentive than just suggesting people buy a few pieces. It would be grouping several related pieces together into a smaller grouping than a collection and more specific than just “dog” (a page) - it would be something like “pugs” and I’d have all my pug prints grouped together for folks to buy their top 3, 6, or 8 favorite pug prints (gallery wall just meaning it would be a small topical collection that would help fill a blank wall. Does that make more sense?
To create a “pug gallery wall” bundle, you can try our app, BYOB (Build Your Own Bundle). Our app allows you to set up custom bundles with different tiers and discounts for your customers. Customers can select what they want on a single page, making it easy for them to customize their own bundle. The bundle page is based on a custom product template we made
Our app is specifically designed for custom bundles and tiered discounts, which are not natively supported by Shopify. So, you can offer your customers a “pug gallery wall” option while still having a large number of prints that aren’t pugs.
What you’re describing is a perfect use case for a mix-and-match bundle app. With Shopify’s default setup, it’s really hard to let customers choose 3, 6, or 8 prints out of a specific selection (like your pug paintings) and then apply bundle pricing automatically.
With NeatBundles, you can:
Create a dedicated “Pug Gallery Wall” bundle product in your store.
Set bundle sizes like 3-pack, 6-pack, or 8-pack.
Add only the pug print products to that bundle, so customers only see the right artwork to choose from.
Let customers browse the options (with images, descriptions, variants, etc.) and pick their favorites until they’ve reached the required number.
Apply the discounted bundle price at checkout automatically.
That way, you don’t have to duplicate products or manage a bunch of separate collections — the bundle builder page becomes the gallery wall where customers curate their set.
If you’d like to test it, NeatBundles is free for now, so you can try setting up a “Pug Gallery Wall” and see how it looks in your store.
