Hey guys, I want to sell my LUT Collection + video tutorial on Shopify, so it’s a digital product.
I’m looking for a way to automate delivery, preferably free. Just something where I can upload one video tutorial and a download link for the LUTs, so buyers always have access to it.
I know about Shopify’s Digital Downloads app, but the reviews say it’s buggy. Does anyone have a better option? I’m already paying $36/month for Shopify, so I’m not about to drop another $50 just to deliver the product, that’s just stupid ngl…

Hey Tim,
If Shopify’s Digital Downloads app isn’t working for you, I’d recommend FetchApp (free plan available) or SendOwl (starts at $9/month). Both automate digital product delivery and are reliable.
If you want a completely free method, you could also use Google Drive or Dropbox and send the link via Shopify’s email system.

We have an app for digital downloads - Filemonk - that’s better than Shopify’s app in pretty much every way we can think of. You’ll find plenty of options in this space, though most charge some fee for additional features, order & storage limits.
The main things we focus on are - ease of use and content security/protection. We rolled out a few updates recently that includes fraud protection, download limits and refund control so your content is only in the hands of customers that paid you.
