After editing an order, if we deselect “Send Invoice to the customer”, it writes below that: “Your customer won’t be notified of these changes”, that mean no Order edited email is sent? I just don’t want for the Invoice email to be sent, I simply want for the Order Edit email to be sent…It exists another menu that sends this email? I think this is an very common and very used email, that we all use…it have to be an simple answer…Thanks.

After long conversation with support team, they said it is not yet been implemented in Shopify to send to the customer an Order Edit email, even if you can edit this email template…it is unbelievable and sincerely I don’t understand why nobody ask for this… Anyway we resolved with a easy solution, just exchange the text of Order Edit email with the Order invoice email, and after Editing an order and check the checkbox with “Send invoice to the customer”, the right order edit email is sent to the customer…

I have done about the same thing yesterday. But in some cases I need to send the actual invoice - now I have the send the message manually for that. Not a perfect fix but..
