How to set local delivery only for certain products on Shopify?

Hello. I have set up standard delivery on my Shopify website however I have particular products which cannot be shipped as they are too fragile etc, so I wanted to make these products available for local delivery only, however I cannot find a way to do this on Shopify. Can anyone help?

In order to have these products only be available for local delivery/pickup you will need to create a separate shipping profile for them. If you aren’t sure how to setup new shipping profiles, please take a look at these instructions and video in our Help Center: Shipping profiles · Shopify Help Center.

Once you have moved these items to a separate shipping profile, you will want to ensure you have the correct locations (if there is more than one) and the shipping zone local to you. You will want to leave the shipping rates empty though. You will see an error message that there will be no rates at checkout for these items, that is okay. The local delivery options will still be available.

Keep in mind as well that these items would need to be ordered separately by customers if they want the rest of their items shipped to them. I would ensure you add a disclaimer to the product page so your clients know that.

When creating the zone for this custom shipping is there any option for me
to create a more narrow shipping profile? I would like to create the
profile so that I can ship to London, England only however it’s giving me
the option for the whole of England which is way too broad. I’ve tried to
follow the steps of live support but can’t see any guidance on this.

In the shipping profile you just need to choose England and then within the local delivery settings itself you will setup the delivery radius.

To confirm, are you using the local pickup/delivery settings available in your admin on your Shipping settings page?
