If an item is stocked at both location A and location B, is there any way to set the fulfillment to where it prioritizes location A if both A and B are in stock?
So far I’ve tried the Order Routing → Use Ranked Locations, but it did not work.
Location A: “Mark’s garage”
Location B: “Brands”
An order had just come in and it set the fulfillment location to location B, so it seems like the “Use Ranked Locations” isn’t meant to prioritize the fulfillment location.
Any advice? Thanks!
I’m not sure but if you aren’t able to find a solution with routing and end up getting stuck doing this manually, you can get more control over location assignment with Order Automator.
You create rules to tell it what to do for location changing (or request fulfillment, fulfill, hold). If the default features don’t suit your needs, you can customize it.

Installed the app and gave it a shot. Seems like it does not have conditional order location assigning for multiple locations. For example
if (inventory at Location B > 0 && inventory at Location A < 1)
assign to B
else
assign to A
What if you added a 2nd rule?
If inventory at Location B < 1 && inventory at Location A > 0 THEN assign to Location A
If that doesn’t work, just send a message to the app through the in-app chat beacon and support can check your specific settings and workflow, and either build a rule for you or make a customization to make it happen.
