Hi there,
How do I setup the Shopify dynamic checkout with an unbranded button?
Meaning having a button saying Buy now instead of a PayPal or Mastercard button.
From Payments it is not possible, neither from the Theme customization.

You don’t. Dynamic checkout buttons are based on the customer. If you want an unbranded experience disable them in settings.

If instead you want the add to cart button to say Buy Now then change the wording

I guess this is not what he would like to have.
Based on the Amazon product pages it is a BIG feature to support an ATC Button and directly with it a Buy now button to go the checkout.
But Shopify only provides Dynamic Checkout and if the Customer uses Apple Pay or PayPal the Button will ALWAYS be branded. And it would be good to have the option to ALWAYS have it unbranded and show the branded options after Clicking on Buy now.
Exactly @Sascha22 , that’s what I thought as well.
I hope Shopify will have that feature available, for now I prefer to disable this feature and only the add to cart button. It is less confusing for the customer.
you can disabled the dynamic checkout, and use the code like “Buy It Now” in the else branch. or directly in your product page.
Sorry. Jumping directly to “/checkout” will not add products in
Hi Paul,
Is there a way to control which branded button would be displayed by default? Why am I seeing “Buy with ShopPay” even though I don’t have a Shop Pay account. The “More payment options” link can be easily missed by the customers.
Is it better to disable ShopPay in settings? I feel it might be misleading for the customer if they are prompted to create a Shop Pay account
Hi Paul,
my client wants to have an unbranded “Buy it now” button while still keeping the express checkouts as options. There is no reason to go to the cart using “Add to cart”. They want to go directly to the checkout. Is there any workaround to achieve this?
