Hi there!
I want to show different pages in different markets, but how is that possible? I am planning to manage 5 markets in 1 store and to use T-Lab for the translations. T-Lab controls the content, but Shopify controls the pages.
My question is not related to showing different content on the pages, but to showing a different number of pages. For example, we would show 8 articles in the Swedish market and 5 different articles in the Spanish market. So, we are talking about how to target pages, not how to target content.
I hope you can help!
Thanks
Nick
Hi Nick,
I would suggest looking into canonical links for indexing purposes but for the actual functionality I would guess you’d need a custom app?
Do you want to show a different menu for different countries?
Where would you display links to those pages?
Usually it’s best to have a logical site structure like mystore.com/en/page1, mystore.com/de/buchseite1 etc. and not mix different languages on one site, not just for SEO purposes but also because someone might start on one language and accidentally end up on content in another language which is guaranteed to increase your bounce rate.
A bit more context on what exactly you’re trying to achieve would be very helpful!
