I switched from Shopify email marketing to Flodesk and I want to go back to Shopify. The people who unsubscribed while I was using Flodesk aren’t unsubscribed in my Shopify segment. Is there a way to unsubscribe multiple people quickly rather than search for them individually and editing the marketing settings?

Thank you so much for sharing your question with our network. There are two easy ways to unsubscribe customers from email marketing en-masse. Let’s dive into those two options below:

Bulk Edit - First head to your Admin > Customers > Select the customers you would like to unsubscribe. Once selected, find the Bulk Edit button appear at the bottom of the screen. Once you click on that, you will see a column become available for “accepts email marketing” where you can un-check and save.

CSV - Alternatively you can export a CSV file of your customers (the current page, selected customers, or all customers) and make necessary updates to the “accepts email marketing” field and then re-import the new file.
To speed things up you can filter your customers with search results in the top bar, especially if they all have a tag or other factor in common. I trust that helps answer your question, but please let me know if I’ve missed anything.
