I would like to verify my site on Wechat.
I was asked to create a name and content specified .txt file and save it in the website’s root directory. How can I do that?
I tried the below solution and it didn’t work for verification.
First, to upload the .txt file in “Files”
Second, to create a URL direction.
Can anyone help? Thanks!
You can’t really do this on Shopify where it would be website.com/file.txt. Is there an alternative like with what Google does for domain verification where you create a head tag?
The other way would be to move this domain to a custom server and host the file then change it back after verification, though if your store is already established this isn’t ideal.
