My app uses app proxy, and I received a notification that I need to add a new write_app_proxy scope to requested app scopes.

I have some misunderstanding about how app proxy will work after November 14 for stores where the app is already installed and app Proxy is working, but the merchant has not previously approved the write_app_proxy scope.

Should the app ask for the new scope for current stores where it’s already installed? Will app proxy keep working in current stores if the merchant doesn’t go to Shopify Admin and approve the new scope?
