I want to redirect our domain .com.au to .com in shopify store

You have to buy .com domian first then you can connect your store with .com domain.

As mentioned above, you’ll want to first purchase the .com domain and then connect it to your Shopify store using the steps outlined here.
Once your new domain propagation has taken place, you can then set it as your primary domain following these steps here.
That way, anyone accessing your .com.au URL will be automatically redirected to your new .com domain. Hope that helps!
