Image size for Hero banner - Impulse Theme

I am trying to set up the Impulse theme and was wondering what size my website home page hero slide needs to be to not be cut off and super zoomed.

I have tried the recommended impulse dimensions of 2880px x 1620 px and it zooms in.

Hi, @YordanB !

Good choice! Impulse is one of my favourite themes and it’s definitely one of the best out there. When I set up this theme, I usually use “Image with text overlay” section and I select “Fill screen” as Image Size for a nice, neat aspect that it is not cropped at all.

Alternatively, you can select “Original image ratio” and the image won’t be cropped, but displayed at its original size.

Lastly, you can go for 3200 x 1600 for a more horizontally-aligned image and the chances to zoom in will be lowered. Other dimensions you might take in consideration: 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1000, 1200 x 600.

Uncheck the ‘enable parallax’ box in the 'Hero (Optional Slideshow) settings. My laptop nearly went through the window trying to fix this. Found an answer on another forum somewhere.

How about the size for the mobile mode? What is the good resolution for the hero image of the mobile mode?
