Image with text overlay section - reduce text box size in mobile view

Hello,

I have a homepage section which is ‘image with text overlay’. The text is inside a box, and on a desktop the proportion of the box against the background image looks great. But when I switch to mobile view the text box covers most of the image. I need to reduce the size of the text box for mobile view only - it needs to appear about half of the size it is currently. Attached images so you can see the desktop vs. mobile view.

Please can someone give me some guidance of how to fix this?

I am having this exact same issue…I know this is an old post but did no one have a helpful solution?? What did you end up doing? I am dying to know as I have been trying to fix this myself for too long, my launch is around the corner and I am frustrated lol I am using a theme called Beyond. I bought on Shopify but it is a third party theme.
