Dear community. Thanks for helping. We have a rather slow online shop www.feelslikeyoga.com We have the pipeline theme and only a few other apps installed. Shop Speed Score recently slowed and bumped after final facebook connect:

@FlyHeide – the performance doesn’t seem too bad (the result also shows, that the app Advanced Sticky Add To Cart causes a 404 error though) – especially for a Shopify Shop – PageSpeed Insights gives a 50/88. However – it also seems as if there is no Facebook Connect being loaded at the moment – did you remove it?
Bottom line: external scripts can – and often will – definitely be detrimental to your performance and negatively impact your score.

I did remove the Sticky Add to cart app. The facebook app is still there. Performance on home seems to be better now, but it’s worse on product page. Also contacted pipline theme support.
Any other idea which may cause the slow performance?

@FlyHeide – Website Optimization it’s actually a profession … it’s not really easy to point to one or two things without doing thorough research. The Lighthouse-report should give you some hints about what the symptom is, that causes the score – to fix it, one has to dig into the inner workings of your store. I am available to do that, but depending on the setup it might either be easily fixable or just something you’ll have to live with, as long as you don’t want to make bigger changes such as getting rid of certain apps or changing the theme.
