Importing eBay listings to Shopify then back to eBay

Hi folks,
I started selling on eBay a while back and gradually as I’ve grown, I’ve wanted my own website store which is why I turned to Shopify. I’ve got listings up on eBay that obviously I want imported onto Shopify and linked together to keep track of inventory etc., but it seems like once I’ve used the default eBay app plugin for the sales channel and matched an eBay listing to Shopify, once I actually make edits to price, quantity on Shopify, it just won’t export the same data to eBay so I’m left with totally different listings.

I’ve followed tutorials and I still keep running into this problem. Is the eBay plugin just that janky and buggy? I’ve seen it only has 2. something out of 5 stars compared to Amazon’s app which is around 4.7 stars. Should I use a paid for app like ExportYourStore or inkFrog?

Ideally I want to get these eBay listings linked with Shopify, so I can use Shopify as my new main control panel for revising edits etc and putting them both on eBay and Shopify.

I heard words that the eBay Connector App for the sales channel is quite faulty and hard to contact in case of post-sales problems so I choose a paid integration app instead. I decided to go with litcommerce and everything has worked out fine ever since.

In the system, I set up Shopify as my main store while Etsy and Amazon as the sales channels. Then I can bulk list my products across Shopify, Etsy, and Amazon effectively and all product attributes will be correctly listed on all these channels. I can even choose to sync inventory so when any changes are made to the inventory in Shopify, they will be consistently synced to Etsy and Amazon so everything can stay the same together.
