Impulse theme hero images do not fit properly

I’m trying to put some images into the hero slideshow and no matter what size i try to upload they are getting chopped off. I tried with the min/max recommendations provided in the archetype website but no luck. can someone please suggest if there is any setting in the theme to make it fit properly or do we need add any custom code.

Thank you all for looking into this issue. I was able to resolve this issue by disabling the parallax option in the hero slider settings and also by changing the height.
