To see if your theme has an available update:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes
  2. Navigate to the theme. If a theme update is available, it will be noted under the Theme name with a dropdown with a choice to add the updated theme and view its release notes.
  3. If you choose to update, the updated version will note publish automatically. You’ll have a choice to publish the updated version to your live theme when you want.

Note: Not available for all themes. For this part of the rollout, theme updates will only be available if you or an installed app haven’t made any code changes to your theme. We will be looking to expand this experience to more groups in the future.
