What’s this Cheers thing all about?
Think of Cheers as our way of saying “hey, we see you being amazing!”
Every time you jump into a conversation, help someone solve a problem, or even just spend time reading and learning from others, you’re automatically earning points. No extra work, no hoops to jump through. Just be your authentic self!

Here’s the real deal
This isn’t some competition where we’re trying to turn you into posting machines. Honestly? The people already killing it on our leaderboard are the ones who were being awesome long before we had points.
They’re the ones who:
- Actually read your whole question before jumping in with help
- Share stories that make you go “Yes, SAME!”
- Ask follow-up questions because they genuinely care
- Make newcomers feel welcome instead of judged

Your Cheers update every hour (because we’re not trying to make you refresh obsessively 
). You can check the leaderboard or peek at it on the homepage anytime you’re curious.
So keep doing what you’re doing. Be helpful when you can, ask questions when you’re stuck, celebrate others’ wins, and share what you know. The Cheers will follow naturally.
