I’m having a hard time with every app the tries to use any kind of intelligence about what needs to ordered.
Does anyone have a simple purchasing app that I can literally see what was sold and what needs to be reordered? Also being able to set on hand desired quantities.
Let me sort by vendor and cut a po?

This seems like is should be so simple.

You’re absolutely right — this should be simple. Unfortunately, many inventory or purchasing apps try to be too “smart” with forecasting or demand prediction, which can actually make things more confusing than helpful, especially for smaller operations or users who just want clarity and control.

I have made a switch to Sumtracker last month and it does PO management swiftly, it can even manage your whole inventory. You can give it a try
