Is Editing Blog template possible with new sections?

I have created a new blog template and added new sections to it. However whenever the user posts new article, it updates the previous blog posts as well for those sections. She can only use the admin panel but not the sections I added. There must be a way to do this. If not there must be a workaround. Or is the only way to do this is creating a new app? Any help appreciated.
