Is it possible to have a discount code that applies to the comparison price

For example, we have product A that sells at £12.95 with comparison price of £14.95.

We want to offer a discount code of 50% but want this to apply to the original comparison price not already discounted price.

Current Scenario:

Discount code applied at checkout, and product sells at £6.48 (12.95/2)

Ideal Scenario:

Discount code applied at checkout and product sells at £7.48 (14.95/2)

I cannot see any simple options when creating a discount code.

Hi,

This page does not specify how to apply a discount to the comparison price.

Is there another solution.
