Hi,

Is there a way to assign custom images to sibling swatches rather than just a custom colour swatch? I know you can use product images as swatches but all my products have similar product images and so I would want to display something different - is this possible at all?

Hi @SanghitaWW ,

Can you explain more about it? Do you have the same variants for multiple products and want to customize each of them?

Because with Metaobjects Color, you can upload images for each color swatch yourself.

Hi,

I have three separate products - all are the same type of product (Laundry Beads) and each is a different scent. They have been linked via sibling collections/swatches which is a feature that is already included in my theme (Stiletto). It allows the customer to click the difference scent swatches and it’ll load the corresponding product - I followed the instructions here to do this: https://help.fluorescent.co/v/stiletto/product-pages/variant-options/sibling-product-swatches

This option only allows for the swatch to show either the first product image or a custom colour which I can input in the theme settings - I would like to be able to upload a custom image for the swatch as the first product images will look pretty much exactly the same and potential customers may not be able to tell the difference via the swatches.

I’m not sure if there is a quick solution for this and i’m just missing something or whether it requires further development…

Yes, you can create the same with the help of metaobject we did same for our few. Since you are a developer request you to check the below video for metaobject and code logic.
